1. For selling their product the Govt. Of India start a portal Government E-Marketing (GeM), where the weaver directly sells their handloom product to various govt organizations. 


2. 23 Nos of e-commerce platform have been engaged to sell handloom product during the lockdown.


3. The Govt. Of India Ministry of Textiles says to all the state of Chief Minister as UTs for buying/purchase handloom made finished goods from Co-operatives society /co-operation / Handloom agency/handloom weaver and Artisans, so as to put some ready cash in the hands of weavers.

4. A social media campaign was started in the name of -

#Vocal4handmade, 
# Vocal4local 
# Local for Diwali
my handloom portal for weavers etc lunched on the 6th National handloom day. 

5. HEPC organised a " The Indian Textiles sourcing Fair'' was held on 07.10.2021.
 more than 200 participants participate from different regions of the country.
 
6. There are 8 Nos of Design Resource Centres (DRCs) was set up at Weavers' Service Center with the coordination of NIFT, Delhi.

The objective of setting up DRCs are-
a. To build and create design-oriented excellence in the Handloom sector.
b. To facilitate weavers, artisans, exporters, manufacturer and designers for creating new designs.


7. Lunch an e-Commerce portal of E-Shilp Mart freely.

8. Implementation of the various scheme:

a. National Handloom Development Program.(NHDP)
b. Comprehensive Handloom Cluster Development Program.(CHCDS)
c. Samarth Capacity building training Program.(SCBTP)
d. MUDRA scheme.
