What are the causes of Shuttle fly:                          The following are the general causes of "Why the Shuttle Flies" on its way from one box to another at the time of weaving-  (1) If the Back Wall of the Shuttle Box is not in the same line as the Reed. (2) If some Strips of Reed are bent.  (3) If the down layer of Warp-ends does not smoothly touch the Sley Race when the Healds are Depressed.  (4) If the Shed is not clear.  (5) If the Warp Ends are broken and entangled with the others.  (6) Due to waste or tear in Picker or Picking Strap.  (7) Due to defects in Sley Race.  (8) If Picking is done before the full Shed is opened.
